The Yup'ik people are Native American people of Alaska that are at the crossroads of American and Russian tradition in a remote area of Alaska. This documentary not only shows the history of America in the area, but how Russian culture has influenced the Native American people and their struggle along with most of Native Americans with force assimilation.
