Russia has amassed around 20,000 troops on Ukraine's eastern border and could use the excuse of an humanitarian or peacekeeping mission to send them into Ukraine at short notice. This might happen as an open as well as a disguised action like it was the case in the annection of the Crimea peninsular ealier this year.
Mr. President, we urge you to support Ukraine in case of such an aggression by providing it with weapons, machinery and intelligence support to rightfully protect its sovereignty and independence.
