Help Underwater Homeowners By Making New Bankruptcy and Credit Bureau Provisions For Those With Uncooperative Lenders.

Created by C.K. on October 26, 2011

The U.S. Housing Crisis will not be resolved until mortgage lenders are somehow motivated to write down principal from speculative bubbles that were created through the recent real estate boom. While many homeowners have owned and expressed remorse for speculative roles that they have played in trying to acquire The American Dream, unfortunately our Government and Corporations have not shouldered enough responsibility. There are few circumstances in which a lender may be willing to negotiate with a borrower post-settlement, yet the single motivator that trumps all others is bankruptcy. Unfortunately bankruptcy currently has harsh consequences for both borrowers and lenders. Our people have paid enough. We're asking government for special provisions to alleviate bankruptcy on borrowers.
