If we as a whole country would bring back public hangings to all violent and repeat felons it would help detour others being part of the cycle of violence. If everyone knew that if they were to commit a felony act they would be publicly hanged for it I believe it would detour 50% or more of all felony acts. If there was a 50% drop in prison population due to public hangings it would help the economy. The government to take all the money that is sent to prisons and send it to help natural disaster victims, schools for better education, hospitals for the sick, social security for our retired, and to pay off our debt. It would also finally give responsibility to where it needs to be place on the offenders, not law abiding citizens. Send one person to prison and everyone in the state pays.
