Help us to end Child Abuse in Daycares, by beginning a Child Abuser Database, as well as making this public access.

Created by A.A. on March 07, 2013

Currently; we have databases for sex offenders, child molesters, murderers, but we do not have one to protect our most prize possessions, our children.
Recently, a 1 year old child was severely abused by a licensed daycare, which was approved by DCFS. However, that daycare had previously had many issues with complaints of abuse and neglect. This stemmed a nation wide manhunt for the family because they ran in fear of DCFS taking their child, instead of investigating it thoroughly.
Had the family been able to look on a database at the history of the daycare, they would not have chosen to send their children there, as well as many other families.
We, as parents, need the security to be able to look into any past or present allegations (whether unfounded or not) to ensure safety!
