This is a non-traditional school formed in Brunswick, GA that has been intended for kids that didn't work well with the typical public school curriculum. The students are allowed to work at more of their own pace, as most of the school work is done via computers. Losing this school could mean a huge spike in the 15-17 year old dropout rates, and could possibly have a long lasting effect within this city, as these kids are the next generation of adults. We want to present this petition to Howard Mann of the Board of Education on March 13th, 2012 to have proof that they should reconsider the seizing of operations at the Performance Learning Center campus.
