As of November 21, 2014, Texas textbooks will contain excerpts from the Bible, to be represented as "fact", including this: "Moses was the first American" & "Moses' is the basis for the Constitution of the USA." (I am a Christian & I have a problem with them misrepresenting my faith/Bible, & enacting laws based on religion!) These textbooks will be based on religious beliefs, but are by no means what the majority of "the people" want. WE WANT SEPARATION OF CHURCH & STATE! Only 13% of the people of Texas vote. Do not let religion be foisted ALL of our children! Texas NEEDS relief from these extremists in power. They are misrepresenting me, as a Christian & Texan. Do not let them print & distribute public textbooks based on their rendition of the Bible. STOP THIS! Help us! Please!
