"It’s the toughest job in the world. You should be willing to campaign for every vote. You should be willing to debate anytime, anywhere." - Hillary Clinton in 2008
From Bernie Sanders:
One of the next big battlegrounds for the Democratic nomination is New York State's primary on April 19. We've repeatedly asked Hillary Clinton to debate in New York before the primary, but her campaign hasn't agreed to it.
It's really strange, because last time she ran for president, Hillary Clinton said "you should be willing to debate anytime, anywhere." We don't know what happened to that Hillary Clinton.
Voters deserve a chance to hear from candidates before they vote. That's pretty simple. We think there should be a debate in New York before the primary.
