America's gray wolves are a great treasure. The have roamed the lands for thousands of years and people have hunted them for hundreds, many times to near extinction. Once again the wolves' population is dwindling. There are as few as 50 Mexican Gray Wolves living in captivity and the wild deserts of New Mexico and Arizona. Recently, there have been hunts specifically aimed at exterminating the wolves and I say it's time to fight back. The extinction of the wolves will cause drastic changes. For one thing the deer herds will grow and become weaker. Wolves help keep the herd strength and numbers in check. America needs wolves whether she likes it or not. Relist the wolves on the Endagered Species Act (ESA).
