Rahm Emanuel has lost control of the city of Chicago! During his term Chicago's street violence has escalated so much it made it into the international headlines. He has made enemies with the police and fire departments, and labor unions, specifically the Chicago Teachers Union. There was a teacher strike that was the city's first in 25 years. Chicago's unemployment rate is still above 10 percent and he still had the audacity to close down 50 Chicago Public Schools in African-American communities, making it the largest public school closings in our nation. After the announcement of the school closings, he announced that $300 million in public money was going to be used to build a new basketball arena for a PRIVATE university! He has been a great CEO and 1% Mayor, it's time for him to go!
