According to the CDC’s 2011 Youth Risk Behavior Survey, 69% of US high school students get less than 8 hours of sleep and 40% get 6 or less.A 3 year study by Dr. Kyla Wahlstrom at the University of Minnesota changed the start time from 7:45am-8:30am am school administrators said that there was an increased enrollment rates, increased attendance, graduation rates and standardized test scores.
