Create a nationalized system to provide wired high speed internet service for all households. Current systems are overpriced and services are abysmally slow. This is stifing American creativity, business and education opportunities. If this means breaking up the telecom monopolies or eliminating them then do it. Be a Teddy Roosevelt and break up these monopolies and trusts so we can be the best in the world again. After all our DOD invented the internet. If necessary the government should to come in and overide state bans that promote these poorly performing monopolies.
