High tax on video-games business and start the prevention of internet & computer-addiction in early school education

Created by X.Z. on February 06, 2013

Despite the tremendous benefit Internet and computer have brought to the world, we have to face the negative impact of video games and the consequences of internet/computer-addiction to both the mental and physical health of the children and adults.

I am initiating the brainstorm for solution.

Here are a few possible solutions to get the ball going:

1. Banning computer use for kids from pre-K to 3rd Grade

Write rather than typing;
Use library resources rather than internet for school project;
Read real books rather than internet to obtain the same information;

2. Enforce the education on computer/internet-addiction and internet safety;

3. High tax on video game and Internet game business.

4. Low tax on businesses that would bring the children close to nature and away from computer.
