The supreme court ruling that allowed for more toxic chemicals into the environment was unacceptable. it could ruin our ecosystems with the release of more mercury from coal plants. they said that it was not taking into account how it might hurt industry. it wasn't hurting industry as much as it was protecting the environment. it would be greatly advantageous for there to be higher standards for the release and use of all chemicals to anywhere.
