Highlight a student or teacher every week for doing something extraordinary in learning or in teaching.

We in the US do not spend enough time encouraging students and teachers to do something truly amazing. We do not glorify education in a very obvious way. As such, education is not something that people are thinking about constantly as a public policy. If the white house would simply highlight, each week, one student or teacher that had done something amazing, the entire country would hear about it. The media would have to cover it, and education would take a more central place in our view of the country.
