Federal Bureau of Investigation Director James Comey provided a statement on July 5, 2016 regarding the investigation of Secretary Clinton’s use of a personal e-mail system during her time as Secretary of State. In his statement, Director Comey stated that his team's investigation "did find evidence that they were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information.
