There are about 900,000 veterans waiting for their benefit claims to be processed. Currently all the claims are on paper. With about 300 temp workers working 40 hours a week, digitizing 3.5 claims an hour this would take about 6 months, four times faster than the current 2 year mark the VA is shooting for.
