Hire and train out-of-work or under-employed veterans to help process the growing backlog of veteran disability claims.

This is a petition to help the government find solutions to multiple problems at once: the growing population of out-of-work veterans and the mounting backlog of disability and benefits claims awaiting both processing and electronic conversion at the Department of Veterans Affairs. In addition to providing veterans with employment and job training that could help them pursue other employment after their return, this would help address the unreasonable length of time between the submission of a claim for benefits and that claim being processed and acted upon by the government.
