There are hundreds of thousands of backed up disability claims by US veterans between the VA and DOD. These two government agencies cannot communicate effectively and cannot process the overwhelming amount of physical paper forms to even begin to assist US veterans in need. Veterans can wait for years before having their claims looked at, and many simply are never even processed. The broken system that plagues the VA and DOD needs to be digitized into a sophisticated computer filing system and database, so that the DOD and VA can better communicate and so that the veterans of the US are no longer neglected by their government. The White House needs to instigate hiring a private company to develop for the VA the software to create and run a veteran claims database and processing system.
