To hire more Administrative Law Judges to timely process disability cases.

Created by S.C. on July 05, 2014

I filed my disability in August of 2013. I am now in the 2nd stage "Review".

I know from what I have read at the SSDI website that each process takes between 4-6 months to process each case and render a decision.

My attorney is now telling me that because of the (back log) of cases that are currently being filed just in Arizona alone, it will take over 1 year for my case to be scheduled with an Administrative Law Judge, (which is twice as long as the SSDI says that it would take to process.

In the National News the Phoenix VA has had grossly long scheduling problems and they are now addressing and correcting this.

Why not address the long scheduling problems with SSDI and hire more Administrative Law Judges to meet the case load time frame standards that the law requires as well...
