Too many people are abusing Government Aide. Each person that applies for Government aide has to get approved by a caseworker. The problem is, there are so many people applying and so few caseworkers that each case cannot be reviewed in depth like they need to be. We need to Hire more D.H.S. caseworkers. This will also allow the caseworkers to do random audits to ensure the people still qualify and are not abusing the system. I realize this will be expensive but I believe it will save tax money in the long run by catching those who no longer qualify for aide.
