Aviation training classes for the DoD in Pensacola, FL. are all on hold for new students and take about two months for the classes to enroll. In simple terms, the DoD is paying for us service members to sit here until our classes start. The DoD needs to get more instructors to begin more classes and get us service members in those classes instead of having us sit here collecting a paycheck every two weeks for doing so. The overall spending would go down or at least be a more productive way of spending tax payer money.
