HIRE MORE UNITED STATES CUSTOMS AND BORDER PROTECTION OFFICERS AT MAJOR AIRPORTS RATHER THAN LAY THEM OFF.

Created by M.K. on June 28, 2013

I think that the cutback in officers at United States Customs and Border Protection checkpoints in major airports like New York-JFK, Miami International Airport, and LAX is totally unacceptable. People are being forced to stand in lines for several hours including families with small children, who will eventually get overwhelmed because of standing in line for hours, without any entertainment or snacks to keep themselves satisfied? What if a family of 5 who has 3 children under the age of 10 has just flown in to JFK of MIA and has to wait at a Customs Checkpoint for 4 hours? Also being affected are business travelers, who have to be moving so they can be in meetings on time. What if a businessman comes into the US from Europe and has to stand in a disorganized line for 4 hours?
