The shooting in Newton, CT was a tragedy that could have been avoided. How, you may ask? Armed security guards. Our returning military men and women are more than qualified for the position, and are eager to work. Lack of work is a common issue for veterans, and what better way to employ returning American heroes?
Police officers will work just as fine! Many retired police would love the experience of working in public safety again, and especially protecting our youth.
Armed security will prevent school shootings from escalating to a massive incident with many dead, to a minimal number of fatalities, plus, work as a deterrent.
