Hire returning veterans as security guards in our public schools.

This would provide a good job for our heroes whose unemployment rate is higher then the general public. In turn this would help the economy and reduce the need for paying unemployment and other social benefits to these veterans. Tremendous savings would be achieved by little or no firearms or self defense training being needed. Further costs be offset by reducing or eliminating current tax breaks for business's hiring veterans. This could be a program with wide bi-partisan and public support. Lastly and most importantly, it would greatly improve safety for our most vulnerable citizens, our children, OUR FUTURE.
