Hire unemployed Veterans to protect the nations schools.

Many veterans come home and end up unemployed and struggling to pay their bills. Even worse, many of them end up on the streets. In wake of the recent events in Newtown, Connecticut, we should hire unemployed veterans to protect our schools. It is an excellent opportunity to help veterans as well as reassure parents their children are safe in school. They have self defense and tactical training as well as firearm training. By hiring veterans to protect our schools, we can save on training and allow the police officers currently doing the service to go out and protect the streets.
