With a career spanning over forty years David Jones aka David Bowie's work has touched the lives of millions of fans. He has influenced countless other musicians, filmmakers and artists, and has helped to shape modern music over the last five decades. It's difficult to imagine any other contemporary artist with as much cultural impact and significance as David Bowie.
For these reasons we ask that you honor the man, his contributions, and his legacy by proclaiming his birthday, January 8, as "National David Bowie Day."
