[HK] Hong Kong Declaration of Independence

Created by H.I. on January 06, 2016

In the 18 years after the transfer of sovereignty, China shows no respect and violating several aspects on the Sino-British Joint Declaration, which is the ground and requirement for the transfer of sovereignty (1).

China, instead of proper governing, invades Hong Kong by disturbing well-established cultures, languages, public infrastructure, economy, politics, etc, utilizing Hong Kong as a tool for China's own benefits.

Hong Kong as an international city will soon cease to exist.

Thus, according to (1) we herein consider the Sino-British Joint Declaration is no longer effective and we execute our rights to declare the independence of Hong Kong.

Dear President Obama, we want your response and review on the US-HK Policy Act, with Hong Kong treated as fully independent nation.
