Leaked documents, as well as a letter directly from Cisco's CEO to the government, states that Cisco technological hardware has been intercepted and tampered with en route to clients, in order to place "call home beacons" on them (for spying and internal as well as external espionage).
Many of these packages were sent via US Mail.
It is a federal crime to tamper with US mail.
The law has been broken numerous times at a federal level.
And someone needs to be held accountable.
