Hold accountable corporate executives who break laws such as money laundering and aiding and abetting terrorism.

Created by W.H. on January 19, 2013

Recently, executives from HSBC and UBS were not held accountable for violations of United States anti-money laundering and Bank Secrecy laws. When it was discovered that HSBC was laundering money for drug cartels, rouge states, terrorist, and others, they received what amounted to a financial slap on the wrist. Because the executives as individuals received no consequences for egregious illegal behavior, there is little to no incentive to discourage this kind of violation in the future. As regular citizens, if we participated in any activity such as this even on a minute scale we would be tried and convicted, resulting in fines, fees and a lengthy prison sentence.

Not only is this a miscarriage of justice but it threatens national and international security.
