The government and citizens of the United States hold our military personnel to the highest standards of integrity, honesty, and loyalty. Our elected officials and their appointed staff members should be held to the same standards.
As evidenced by the past conduct of our leaders including adultery, drinking and driving, lying under oath, and insider trading there are a number of officials who have no regard for the rule of law or feel that they are above them.
Holding our officials to the highest standards will restore the respect to the offices they hold in the eyes of the American people.
