There seems to be a lot of corruption in our Law Enforcement community. When Law Enforcement officers are investigated for grievences initiated by citizens or for other alleged violations of the law they are investigated by other members of Law enforcement. Sometimes the investigators are coworkers, friends, or have some connection for wich in any other case a requsal would be warranted.This does not make any sense or create an environment where justice would prevale. In order to keep Law Enforcement in check and honest any grievences or investigations should include randomly selected citizen panels involved in the entire investigation. Any and all investigations and findings should be made public and it should be up to a jury to decide when or not to hold an officer of the law to anwser.
