Hold the American legislative branch accountable for internet safety by creating a New Federal Law against cyberbullying

Created by P.C. on July 17, 2013

Since the creation of social networks with virtual communication, there has been a new epidemic of abuse. Through new worldwide technology, society has yet to adjust to the evolution, instead creating an intensified experience of psychological, verbal, and physical abuse known as cyber bullying. These attacks are not only damaging to a person's perception of life or self, it also is exaggerated and shared throughout the world faster than the speed of light. As a result, characters have been destroyed, children have committed and attempted suicide, and abusers humiliate their victim with no consequence. Girl POWER Foundation strongly believes that with new technology, we need new rules. We want Congresswoman Linda Sanchez to join us in creating a new federal law against cyber bullying.
