The American flag is symbol of freedom around the world, millions have bleed for it. It should be respected and honored accordingly. I do not believe people should be allowed to walk all over it or spit on it, whether it is their right or not. I firmly believe the freedom of speech should not include desecrating the flag. I do not know of any other country that allows this kind of disrespect towards their veterans or their country. I am writing this on behalf of veterans that gave the ultimate sacrifice, and their families. I am also writing on behalf of true patriots that love this country and would do whatever it takes to preserve its freedoms. thank you.
