My request is simple, I hope that President Obama will continue to make himself available, at scheduled intervals, on Reddit.
When I first learned of the Ask-Me-Anything (AMA) thread, it was 4:50pm in DC and I was devastated to learn that I was too late to participate (not to mention the lag!). Regardless the AMA thread delighted me and I was excited to see what he had to say. The thought that we were all connected, albeit briefly and remotely, brought to mind FDR's fireside chats.
The AMA threads on Reddit may not be meant to be a regular feature I believe the concept is one that the President should seize upon. By allotting time to future online threads President Obama will hopefully establish a precedent of openly communicating with Americans in a truly open forum.
