This petition deals with services not properly done, ineffective, negligent, unavailble and overlooked by the Atlanta VA Medical Center. The Atlanta VA will not pay for veterans' services that are outside of their facility unless referred, but when an emergency occurs and there isn't time to come to your local VA Center or the Atlanta VA center is not doing their due diligence to heal you and you seek other preventive or life saving services from other surrounding hospitals, they won't pay and will deny your claim. This needs to stop and be investigated. If the Atlanta VA is incompetent to treat veterans, then the veterans should be allowed to seek treatment elsewhere without penalty.
