Colleges and Universities should be held to the same standards as any other service providing business when it comes to delivering what they promise. I'm not talking about giving out poor grades for those who deserve it, I'm not talking about grades at all. I'm talking about the administration of the school failing to properly oversee that the programs and courses it offered were fully laid out and put together before sending students through them.
When tuition prices are as high as they are, it's only prudent that schools be as efficient as they can be when it comes to delivering what they promise. Sending students through 'experimental' classes and expecting them to pay full price is not fair. Failing to deliver a syllabus should be illegal since it proves there was no course plan.
