hold companies responsable for human rights abuses committed on their behalf

Much of our clothing is made in unsafe working conditions in Bangladesh. People are dying by the busload yet American companies whom the clothes are intended for don't seem to care. For a relatively small amount of money American companies can insure that these abuses don't happen. Unfortunately these companies only fix what the public can see, and complain about. We must ask congress to pass a bill punishing companies complicit in this.
