Hold companies responsible for their actions.

Created by M.K. on September 12, 2014

Currently, federal policy is that "a corporation's primary responsibility is to its stockholders". This has devastating consequences for the American people.

Change the policy so that
1) "a corporation's primary responsibility is financial stability".

2) If a corporation has the rights of a person, it has the same responsibilities as a person. They must be held to the same standards of care as people and individual businesses. This includes adherence to law (local, state, and federal), improvement of their community, and service to our country.

3) This applies to all companies and corporations doing business within the US or its territories.

4) Each board member shall be held individually responsible for all corporate actions and subject to both criminal and civil legal action.
