We petition the government to create at least two competitions for the youth of the Nation to design "Heritage Flags"
The Confederate Battle Flag was always a symbol of racism and treason against the rightful United States Government since its inception and should not be flown. However if people want to showcase a flag to represent their "Southern Heritage" then a competition should be held to let the youth of the South design a NEW flag representing Southern culture and heritage while discarding the racist past of the Confederate Flag.
This doesn't just have to be for the South. There could be a flag of the WEST as well.
Who can participate?
People between the ages of 10-18 who live in the South.
How long?
Each competition should last about 1 year.
When?
By 2020
