The government is supposed to be working for the People. Suspend federally funded benefits to Congress in the event the U.S. economy worsens. The debt ceiling shall not be raised. The Presidential cabinet and ALL members Congress must forfeit any benefits or wages paid by the Federal government or state and local taxes until prosperous economy is restored. Business currently funded by government monies will be expected to continue and paid for via personal financial reserves of the politician. A review will occur after 6 months. Should performance decrease within this 6-month period, said official figure must resign or be terminated for failed performance. Wages will be ineligible for back payment. The people hold decision makers accountable for economically destructive behaviors.
