We are opposed to the amount of days Congress takes off. Leaving unfinished business and allowing the citizens of these United States to pay the price. We feel that we're paying Congress a six figure income to do nothing. We're proposing a minimum 265 day work year. We're also proposing the stopping of all basic pay to Congress, the Senate and the President if no budget is signed in law by Sep 30 at 11:59pm of each fiscal year. Pay will resume once a budget is passed into law and no back pay will be forwarded. We're looking for one million people to sign this petition within a two month time frame to show Congress, the Senate and the President that we want some positive actions.
