Hold elected members in office financially accountable that do not commit to campaign outlines made during elections.

Created by A.B. on February 14, 2013

This petition is an effort to facilitate change, enable accountability and reduce complacency for those elected into all state and federal government positions up to and including the President of the United States.

This petition suggests that all candidates who run for office must make a public, clear and detailed campaign outline of what will be completed, should they be elected to office. This will be accessible for all to see prior to voting.

Furthermore, this petition suggests an independent group will monitor all campaign promises (oral and/or written) made during election interviews and speeches. Promises that are not being addressed during the term of office within reason shall result in a personal fine or percentage of their income to be applied toward the national debt.
