There is a very real possibility that, for the third time in its infamous history, Florida will grind the gears of government to a halt through its inability to do something the rest of us learned how to do in kindergarten - count correctly. This level of bureaucratic bungling cannot be allowed to continue unchecked.
This petition calls on Congress to address the egregious failure of one of our states to perform the basic duties of government.
Should the national election result be impeded by the state of Florida's failure to produce a clear outcome, we call upon Congress to revoke Florida's state charter and declare that the geographic territory now comprising the state of Florida shall be forever repudiated as a legally designated state within the union of the United States.
