While manufactures of cars, toys, and food are held liable for their safety, manufactures of guns are indemnified from regulations that would make guns safer. Please hold gun manufactures responsible for optimizing the safety of guns they produce. Start by repealing the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act which prevents firearms manufacturers and dealers from being held liable for crimes committed with their products.
