The root of the problem needs to be addressed; Obama Care does not hold hospitals accountable for charging costs for items that run up the hospital bills, in some cases marking up common items hundreds of percent. I think legislation needs to be implemented to address hospitals aggressive billing nature, reign in charges to a reasonable level, if a pain reliever you can get over the self-cost’s 5 cent, charging 2 dollars is unreasonable (just one example), in fact everything on a charge list at a hospital is unreasonable. Make our government address the real reason for high healthcare cost. Without a resolution to the real reason, nothing will ever get resolved. It makes more sense to just pass on if you’re sick then to leave your family straddled in debt.
