Hold Law Enforcement Accountable For Their Actions.

Created by A.G. on August 29, 2014

Create a bill and sign into law forcing police unions to use funds out of their pensions for any lawsuits where police actions were outside the guidelines of the department. If an officer(s) is found to be guilty of excessive force, police brutality and/or any offense that ends with a lawsuit costing the department money then said officer(s) should be put on a registry banning them from practicing any kind of law enforcement in the future. During an investigation into wrong doing all officers involved should be put on administrative leave at half their regular pay. The law shall be made in an effort to not only detour police misconduct (i.e. brutality, profiling, abuse of power), but also to ensure that the public is safe from unwarranted attacks by the people sworn to protect and serve.
