Hold law enforcement departments and officials accountable for any unlawful actions against citizens.

President Obama recently signed executive orders to the benefit of those who are not yet legal citizens. Now American citizens are requesting the same type of action. The federal government gives millions of dollars in grants to state and local law enforcement agencies, along with retired military equipment. Some accountability for unlawful, and suspected unlawful treatment of American citizens should come along with this type of aid. What this petition is asking for is that the Department of Justice conduct mandatory investigations when any child or elderly unarmed person is killed or has to be hospitalized at the hands of law enforcement officers. Also when any person not wielding a firearm is shot excessively or killed by law enforcement. Lastly when any person is beaten in excess.
