Hold the legal gun owner responsible for what happens when their guns are not secured properly in their homes.

The last two horrifying mass shootings have been where one gun was stolen from a friend and 2 to 4 guns were kept in the home where the shooter lived. Were these guns locked up or were they just lying around the house? I know we have gun collectors and some of them have their guns on display, but is that really a safety measure. Guns that are legally acquired should be kept in a box, safe, ect. where they are secured. That should be a requirement of anyone that owns a gun. It should be a question on the application to get a gun. Therefore, holding the gun owner responsible for securing their guns.
