Since it's apparent that after a mass shooting it is "too soon" to talk about gun violence and control, the only way it will happen is if such discussions are scheduled in advance. I propose that, with Congress back after their summer recess, relaxed and ready to work, they spend the first day debating this issue. Both parties in both houses should have bills ready to present and discuss regardless of of another mass shooting happens in the interim.
